Three-time Olympian and Olympic Downhill Champion Kerrin Lee-Gartner provides expert analysis to CBC's alpine ski coverage on Road To The Olympic Games. Lee-Gartner is an authority in the skiing community and has provided analysis for CBC's coverage of alpine events for the past several years. Since her retirement from competition in 1994, she has covered five Olympic Games for CBC including Sochi 2014. Her 1992 Olympic downhill skiing gold medal remains the only gold won by a Canadian in that sport.

As a member of the national ski team, Lee-Gartner proudly represented Canada at three Olympics and four Alpine Ski World Championships. Over the course of her career she won three Canadian downhill championships and earned 49 top-10 finishes at the Alpine Ski World Cup, World Championship and Olympic levels. Lee-Gartner is a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame, the Olympic Hall of Fame and both the B.C. and Alberta Halls of Fame. In 1992 she received the Velma Springstead Award for Canada's Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year and was awarded the Order of British Columbia. She is also a recipient of the Canadian Meritorious Service Medal and was named Alberta's Female Athlete of the Century.
