Kelley Jo Burke is an award-winning playwright and poet, a director, storyteller, documentarian, and broadcaster. She directs and produces for stage and radio, and is the host of SoundXchange, CBC Saskatchewan's radio performance hour on Saturdays at 5 p.m. on CBC Radio One.

Her plays and poetry have been produced and published in Canada, and around the world, including her stand-up documentary, Ducks on the Moon (Hagios), which she has performed around Canada, and which was the basis of an IDEAS documentary of the same name, her award-winning stage plays The Selkie Wife (Scirocco) and Charming and Rose: True Love (Blizzard), and her CBC radio play "Big Ocean", which was heard in seven countries in 2000. Her documentaries for CBC Radio's IDEAS also include "Chorus of Angels", "Mothers of Miscarriage" and "The Word for World is Imagination; The Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin.

She was the 2009 winner of the Saskatchewan Lieutenant-Governor's Award for Leadership in the Arts.
