Joan McCusker
Analyst, Curling | Road To The Olympic Games

Three-time Canadian and World curling champion and Olympic gold medallist Joan McCusker provides insight and analysis to CBC's curling coverage as a member of the Road To The Olympic Games broadcast team. In addition to her impressive resumé as a curler, McCusker has been part of CBC's curling coverage since 2001 and brings the experience of three Olympics as a broadcaster, having covered curling for CBC's broadcasts in Salt Lake City in 2002, Turin in 2006 and most recently at Sochi 2014.

McCusker was a member of the team that dominated the world of women's curling in the 1990s.  With her teammates Sandra Schmirler, Jan Betker and Marcia Gudereit, McCusker won Canadian and World curling titles in 1993, 1994 and 1997. The team rallied in the fall of 1997 to win the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials and the right to represent Canada at the Olympics in 1998, where they won the gold medal.
