Dan has been hosting Saskatchewan Weekend on CBC Radio for several years. During that time he has visited almost every corner of the province.
He's also taken people behind-the-scenes with him to events across North America, including The Academy Awards, The Grey Cup Game and Parade, The Vanier Cup, The Brier and Tournament of Hearts, The Juno Awards, The Canadian Country Music Awards, The Canadian Figure Skating Championships, The Canadian Comedy Awards, and more than a few dozen others.
Yes, much like the lyrics of the classic song, Dan can claim "I've Been Everywhere."
Dan is also an arts & entertainment specialist, and continues to produce and write critical analysis of movies that are new on Blu-ray and DVD each week in The Couch Potato Report.
His idols include Terry Fox, Jim Henson and Mel Blanc, and he is the type of person you want helping you with your Oscar pool and on your Trivial Pursuit team.
Dan enjoys meeting people and taking part in adventures that take him to every corner of the province. He's hosted the World Class Player's Cup, introduced entertainers at the Regina Food Bank 'Foodstock' concerts and taken part in the CNIB's Annual Blind Bowling Media Challenge.
