CBC HAS EXCLUSIVE CHAMPIONSHIP COVERAGE OF THE ROGERS CUP PRESENTED BY NATIONAL BANK, AUGUST 10 AND 11

CBC's weekend coverage includes the semifinals and finals of both the men's and women's events from Montreal and Toronto respectively

Canada welcomes the best men's and women's tennis players in the world for the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank over the next 10 days and CBC is proud to be the exclusive Canadian home of the semifinals and finals for both events. Live coverage of every semifinal and final match from both events will be available on CBC-TV and online at CBCSports.ca beginning with the first women's semifinal on Saturday, August 10 at 12:30 p.m. ET (9:30 a.m. PT). A full broadcast schedule is available below.

Elliotte Freidman (@friedgeHNIC) will host CBC's coverage of the only Canadian stop on the ATP and WTA tours all weekend from the men's event at Montreal's Uniprix Stadium, with studio analysts Justin Gimelstob (@justingimelstob) and guest Tom Tebbutt (@tomtebbutt). Play-by-play for the men's event will be provided by CBC's Bruce Rainnie, joined in the booth by analyst Jimmy Arias with David Amber (@DavidAmber) reporting.  Play-by-play for the women's event at Toronto's Rexall Centre at York University will be provided by CBC's Scott Oake (@ScottOake) alongside analyst Tracy Austin (@thetracyaustin), with Brenda Irving (@BrendaCBCSports) reporting.

Canada's Milos Raonic will be looking for a home court advantage as the world's 13th-ranked player takes on a field that will feature each of the top 30 players in the world rankings, including: reigning Rogers Cup and Australian Open Champion and world #1 Novak Djokovic; recent Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, currently ranked #2 in the world; world #3 David Ferrer; this year's French Open champion and current world #4 Rafael Nadal; and two-time Rogers Cup champion and current world #5 Roger Federer.

The women's event will feature Canada's Eugenie Bouchard coming off of a promising performance at Wimbledon where she advanced to the third round after defeating the 12th-seeded Ana Ivanovic in straight sets. Bouchard will look to build more momentum against a field featuring the top 24-ranked players, including: reigning French Open champion and world #1 Serena Williams; this year's Australian Open champion and world #3 Victoria Azarenka; last year's Rogers Cup champion and current world #7 Petra Kvitova; and 2013 Wimbledon champion and world #8 Marion Bartoli.
