Kelly VanderBeek

An alpine Olympian and World Cup medalist, Kelly VanderBeek will add\ a unique perspective as co-host of Olympic Games Overnight alongside Craig McMorris during CBC/Radio-Canada's coverage of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 this February. This will be VanderBeek's fifth Olympic Games as a broadcaster.

VanderBeek knows what it takes to compete at the highest level and what is going through the minds of the athletes as they prepare for the biggest stage of their careers. She'll add insight to CBC's competition coverage, as she most recently did for the network during the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, her third Olympics as a member of CBC's broadcast team.

With her ability to connect with people, VanderBeek takes pleasure in both telling other peoples' stories as well as her own.

She also devotes time to charitable organizations like Right to Play and supports her home region's KVR (Kelly VanderBeek Racing) Kids Fit and ski racing team. Kelly is also a professional photographer specializing in children's portraiture.
