Carole MacNeil

Carole MacNeil hosts weeknight prime time news on CBC News Network, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. MacNeil was formerly one of three permanent hosts on CBC News daily news program THE NATIONAL, which she anchored on Saturdays. From 2009 to 2016 MacNeil was host of CBC News Network with Carole MacNeil weekdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. From 2002-2009, she hosted CBC News: Sunday and CBC News: Sunday Night. Prior to September 2002, MacNeil hosted the Toronto edition of CANADA NOW. She has hosted numerous live specials for CBC News: Sunday and for CBC Television. MacNeil was also anchor of the Windsor evening news from 1994-1998.
