Amber Marshall
Amy Fleming | Heartland

Amber Marshall is now in her eighth season of portraying Amy Fleming on Heartland. Growing up in London, Ontario she trained with The Original Kids Theatre Company and attended L.B. Pearson School for the Arts. She has appeared in numerous film and television productions, displaying a remarkable range and vulnerability.

Amber was honoured with the inaugural Canada's Screen Star Award - voted by fans - at the 2013 Canadian Screen Awards and in the past was nominated for the Los Angeles based 'Young Artist Award,' for her work as the title character in The Elizabeth Smart Story. She has also had roles in other television productions such as Super Rupert, Dark Oracle, Doc and a TV Movie with Rob Lowe titled The Christmas Shoes.

Wanting to be a veterinarian from a young age, Amber began her work at fourteen in a local vet clinic near her parents house. She has always been passionate about all animals, and has been around horses as long as she can remember. She has been riding since a very young age and says that the two things she loves the most - acting and horses - have come together to create this dream role of Amy on the Heartland series.

Ever since Heartland's premiere seven years ago, Amber fit right into the lifestyle of the west. She has since has made a home for herself on a small ranch outside of Calgary where she lives with her husband Shawn and their many animals. These include horses, cattle, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens. Aside from production, Amber fills her time with appearances, charitable events and managing her own Magazine and Apparel line.
