UPDATE - Allergy Alert: Undeclared Wheat in Tunnock's
Snowballs Coconut Covered Marshmallows

The public
warning issued on June 23, 2006, has been
updated to include additional information. The
Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning
people with allergies to wheat protein not to
consume Tunnock’s Snowballs Coconut Covered
Marshmallows. They contain wheat which is not
declared on the label.
Tunnock’s Snowballs Coconut
Covered Marshmallows, a product of Scotland, is
sold in various size boxes (4 pack, 8 pack, 36
pack, and possibly other formats) containing individually
wrapped units. In addition, they are also sold
as single units. They have been sold under various
UPCs. All codes are affected by this alert.
There have been no reported illnesses
associated with the consumption of this product.
Consumption of this product may cause a serious
or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies
to wheat protein.
