Safety advisory for Elfe “Charlotte” cribs sold at Wal-Mart

Elfe Juvenile Products
of Montreal has issued a safety
advisory for 3,150 Chinese-made cribs sold at
Wal-Mart stores across Canada between
last August and this month.
The company
did not specify what the safety issue
is, but has asked customers to stop
using the cribs immediately.
The affected cribs were sold at Wal-mart
stores nationwide from August 1, 2005 through
January 13, 2006 for $117.97.
Montreal-based Elfe says the affected Charlotte cribs, model number 571515,
are white and have a manufacture date of July 30, 2005 or Sept. 1, 2005.
There is a label with the model and manufacture
date on the headboard of the crib.
Consumers should stop using
the cribs immediately and contact Elfe
at 1-800-667-8184. |
