Sears Canada Issues Voluntary Safety Recall for the Dora the Explorer Bingo Game

Sears Canada is warning consumers in Quebec of a potential hazard relating to Dora the Explorer Bingo Game. The age rating shown on the box is incorrect. It says two to six years of age, but it should say three to six years of age. The game contains small pieces that may be swallowed by children under the age of three.

The Dora the Explorer Bingo game was sold in Sears Canada retail stores in Québec only, between September 2005 and June 2006. The model number is GLA 9262, and the Sears item number found on the receipt of sale is 92971.

There have been no reports of incidents to date. However, in the interest of customer safety, Sears Canada urges customers who own the affected Dora the Explorer Bingo Game to stop children under the age of three from using the game.
