Allergy Alert: Undeclared
Milk Protein in Various Imported Products

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency
(CFIA) is warning people with allergies to milk
protein not to consume various imported products.
The affected products contain milk protein which
is not declared on the label.
This is an ongoing investigation.
The CFIA is working with Canadian importers to
identify all affected products that were distributed
in Canada. Additional allergy alerts could be
issued as a result.

The following products, imported
from Taiwan and Vietnam are affected by this alert.

These products may have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported illnesses
associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may
cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in
persons with allergies to milk protein.
