The Canadian Food Inspection
Agency (CFIA) and A & P Canada are
warning people with allergies to egg not
to consume Equality brand Cheeseburger
Macaroni Hamburger Dinner. The affected
product may contain egg, which is not declared
on the label.
The affected product, Equality brand Cheeseburger
Macaroni Hamburger Dinner, is sold in a 227
g package with UPC 0 57627 23753 1. The affected
product bears the production codes beginning
with L125, L135 and L155 (printed in black
ink on the top of the box).
This product has been distributed
only in Ontario.
There have been no reported illnesses associated
with the consumption of this product.
Consumption of this product may cause a
serious or life-threatening reaction in persons
with allergies
to egg.
A & P
Canada, of Etobicoke, Ontario, is
recalling the affected product
from the marketplace. Product can be returned
to any A&P Canada store for a full refund.
