Alert: NRS and LL Bean Inflatable Water Boards
Lack Safety Warning Labels

The Consumer Produce Safety
Commission has announced a recall of NRS Manta
Surfer River Boards and LL Bean Body Boards. Consumers
should stop using these products immediately unless
otherwise instructed. The safety warning label
containing precautionary information on proper
use and operation was not affixed to the device.

There have been no injuries reported.
This
recall involves the NRS Manta Surfer River Board
also sold as LL Bean Body Board. The Surfer Board
is black, red and blue with the NRS logo printed
on the top front of the board. The LL Bean Body
Board is black, yellow and blue with the LL Bean
logo printed on the top front. The boards measure
41-inches long by 24-inches wide. Item numbers
1869 (NRS) and 41869 (LL Bean) are printed on
the tag sewn into the bottom seam, near the inflation
valve.
Sold through: NRS and LL Bean catalogs
nationwide from February 2006 through August 2006.
Consumers
will receive an attachable label from NRS or LL
Bean. Consumers should immediately affix the label
to the device as directed.
