Milk Protein in Various Imported Instant Coffee
Mixes and Cereal Mixes

The Canadian
Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people
with allergies to milk protein not to consume
certain imported instant coffee mixes and cereal
mixes. The affected products contain milk protein
which is not declared on the label. This
is an ongoing investigation. The CFIA is working
with Canadian importers to identify all affected
products that were distributed in Canada. Additional
allergy alerts could be issued as a result.

alert.

These products may have been distributed nationally.
There have been no reported illnesses
associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may
cause a serious or lifethreatening reaction in
persons with allergies to milk protein.
