  • In the event of a fire alarm, make sure there is a clearly described safety plan in your workplace.
  • Make sure you understand this plan: where do you go? Where is your closest fire exit?
  • Know who your fire wardens are. Ask them questions about your building's evacuation procedures.
  • Make sure people understand and practice these safety procedures.
