Gino Merenda started out at Power Vac as a part-time employee in 1990 while attending college. In 1992, he became a full-time technician in the residential field and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. Servicing residential customers can be difficult because of the need to educate customers that duct cleaning, when properly executed, is beneficial. He has educated his customers on exactly what an HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) system is and what it is supposed to do.

Gino was appointed as the Operations Manager for Power Vac in 2006, an early member of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). Gino says his company has been one of the leaders in pushing for Quality Control and they follow the NADCA Standard ACR 2006 for all of their projects. He successfully completed his certification in 2002 and says he has been exposed to some of the largest HVAC Systems in hospitals, office towers and industrial facilities.
