The Ontario Ministry of Labour announced that Premier Fitness has been fined $100,000 for violation of the Employment Standards Act, specifically on the issue of wages.

Remember Dr. Stanley Bernstein? The weight-loss doctor is in the news, as he's in the midst of a court battle with a former partner, and is suing for more than $10 million. As part of the court hearings, Bernstein wants to keep the public out of the civil trial, which could have major repercussions for open courts.
