A new study on cellphone safety has found that carrying a phone in a shirt or pants pocket exceeds radiation exposure guidelines spelled out by the the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and that children absorb twice as much cellphone radiation as adults.

The weight-loss doctor is in the news, as he's in the midst of a court battle with a former partner, and is suing for more than $10 million. As part of the court hearings, Bernstein wants to keep the public out of the civil trial, which could have major repercussions for open courts.
The federal government is putting limits on the amount of caffeine allowed in energy drinks. Health minister Leona Aglukkaq announced today that Health Canada will not allow more than 180 milligrams of caffeine per serving -- far higher than the 80 milligrams recommended by a panel of health experts convened to advise the health regulator.
