HOW TO GET HELP:
What you can do if there's a problem with your cellphone bill |
|
For months Marketplace has been asking Canadians to send their us their bills. We whittled the worst down to a handful of finalists, and put the final three to a nation-wide poll.
On Friday, March 5, we announce the "winner," and along the way reveal the results of our investigation into the cellphone industry.

I live in Tornto and I am Rogers customer, I have my home line, internet, cable and three cell phones with Rogers.
For the last two years Rogers over charge me by at least $400.00 per month. Every month I have to call them to review the charges and they find the mistake then they reduce the charges.
They even charge me for services that I don't have like the digital box and so one.
My last bill was $1130 and the one before close to $1300 but when I called them it was reduced by $400.00.
If I don't check my bill and paid Rogers the full amount I would be paying Rogers $4800 annually.
I think Rogers Cable is taking adventage of people's busy schedule and robbing them blind.
If I want to cancel my service I have to pay penalty.
Why should be a penalty, shouldn't CRTC interfere and give customers the ability to change providers if they aren;t happy with the service?
and why do we have to sign up for three years to aquire such a service?
Is there anyway we all can get together and have our own cell phone connection and have all of the cell phone people thrown out or under-cut them so they all have to go out of business because this is not a business it is just thievery and scamming people for money.
I think Canada as whole has the worst cell phone plans/contracts on possibly the planet.
