Inspection Results
Marketplace tagged along with the team from Toronto's Multi-Residential Apartment Buildings (MRAB) audit team when they inspected 80 Wellesley Street East.

In total, the audit found 95 violations of building standards bylaws. You can read the full report.

The MRAB audit program goes into approximately 200 buildings a year in Toronto, and can prosecute landlords who fail to comply with city work orders. Marketplace was able to find more than a dozen current or recent charges against TransGlobe properties in Toronto alone.

Unique to Toronto, a public database where you can check to see if a building has outstanding work orders against it.
