The Licensed Natural Health Products Database (LNHPD) contains product specific information on natural health products that have been issued a product licence by Health Canada.
Health Canada's Licenced Natural Health Product Database
If you go to the database to check out Herbal Magic's products, you will see two WM-2000 products listed that have been licenced. These reflect the two new products that Herbal Magic says are replacing the unlicenced forumulation.
The issuance of a product licence means that the product has been assessed by Health Canada and has been found to be safe, effective and of high quality under its recommended conditions of use. Licensed natural health products can be identified by looking for the eight-digit Natural Product Number (NPN) or Homeopathic Medicine Number (DIN-HM) designation on the label.
