Brunswick Mines Lives a Little Longer: Nine hundred employees of what was once the largest lead/zinc mine in the world may get to keep their jobs a little longer.
Production at the Brunswick Mines outside of Bathurst has been winding down for years.
And this year was supposed to be the last year that ore would be brought to the surface.
But, it turns out there's still some life in the old mine yet. We spoke with Roger Clinch, the director of corporate affairs for Brunswick Mines which is owned by mining giant "Xstrata ".
