Is it possible to have a rational discussion over wind power developments ?

How do we, as citizens, have rational discussions about controversial local issues ?
A wind energy project on Digby Neck in Nova Scotia has generated a backlash from some residents.Scotian Windfields and Sky Power are installing 20 turbines in the Gulliver's Cove area. Some people are angry because they believe wind turbines could make them ill. Others feel betrayed by government officials. We heard from Danny Mills and Evelyn Hayden of Gullivers Cove,and Barry Zwicker, who speaks for Scotian Windfields.

Much of the talk surrounding railways these days falls into the categories of history and nostalgia. Rail lines have been abandoned and tracks have been torn up. But Eastport, Maine is hoping to revive its glory days by creating a brand new 30-kilometer railway to the New Brunswick Border at St Stephen. The CBC's Connell Smith told us the story.
