Conrad Fox is a freelance broadcaster and reporter. He's from Nova Scotia, but he loved Mexico so much he thought he'd stay there forever.
A violent, bloody drug war convinced him and his wife to get their young family out of that country, and bring them to Canada.
But for now, only Conrad is here, looking for work, while his wife waits for the slow wheels of immigration to turn.
This week on Maritime Magazine, you can hear Conrad's story, and those of other Mexicans, living in this region, but watching events unfold far south of the border.
