During the last decade or so Atlantic Canadians have brought a whole new meaning to the idea of "commuting" to work.
Sure it's no fun to get stuck in rush hour traffic as you head to the 'burbs on a Friday evening...but try flying home from Calgary once a month - IF you're lucky.
The lure of ready jobs and good money has seen thousands of Maritimers answer the siren call of the Alberta oil sands.
But there is a price to pay...and it's in what they leave behind.
