A Positive Outlook
Pat Evans has plenty of reasons to look at the dark side of life. Her car collided with a moose one morning, a catastrophic accident that left her quadriplegic. Now, she needs an attendant 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Someone has to do everything for her.
But somehow, Evans has come through the transition from independance to dependance with her positive outlook on life intact. CBC producer Nicole MacLennan visited her at home overlooking the Bras D'Or Lakes to find out how she does it.
