Peter George Dyck (PC)
This riding has existed since the 1958 election, and it has always been PC. It's in southern Manitoba, with the Manitoba/North Dakota border as the southern boundary. Morden and Winkler are the main communities.The population in 2001 was 21,765. The average family income was $50,680, with an unemployment rate of 3.7 per cent. The main industry was manufacturing (21.9%) followed by agriculture, and health and social services (12.5% each).
