Kevin Lamoureux (LIB)
The riding has existed since the 1958 election. It is in the northern part of Winnipeg and runs between the city limits in the north and Oak Point/Muskoka Avenue in the south. The western boundary is the city limits and the eastern boundary is Keewatin/Inkster/Mandalay/Jefferson/Dunham/Leila/Ritchie.The population in 2001 was 19,310. The average family income was $59,025, with an unemployment rate of 4.9 per cent. Manufacturing was the major industry in the riding, accounting for 24 per cent of employment in 2001.
