Don't even try to bring your best b-boy stance to Graffiti Gallery and
Sisler High School this weekend, because the talent on hand for Battle of the Elements will put you
to shame.
Veteran Winnipeg break dance group Dangerous Goods
Crew will be performing tonight (Friday, August 17) starting at 5 p.m.
at Graffiti Gallery for their 10th year anniversary. The crew will be
stepping up their game as they take on some of the best b-boys and b-girls from across the nation in an exhibition battle.
And that's just the start, as the
breakin' battles continue throughout the weekend.
On Saturday you can
catch the Break 4 Bread XII Crew vs. Crew edition, where some of
Canada's most slamming dance acts will be showing off their moves from 3
p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sisler High School.
The action then returns to Graffiti Gallery all day on Sunday as Canada's best graffiti artists take it to the canvas for a visual battle (including a cash prize) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (which is free to attend). This will be followed by the ultimate dance showdown when Break 4 Bread XII presents its All Styles Edition from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m..
Tickets for all the events are just $10 if you bring a perishable food item.
You know it's like that, and that's the way it is.
