Will Work 4 Home brings audiences face-to-face with the condition of homelessness in Winnipeg which is not just one person's tragedy. It's evidence of the state of the political and economic ill health of our society. We all suffer.
In presenting Will Work 4 Home with the Aboriginal Arts Master Class students, I am trying to broaden their worldview in a way that doesn't scare them. If we can imagine ourselves as the person in the darkness - be it homelessness or economic recession or war - then we can become deeper thinkers and more activated citizens.
