The Winnipeg Art Gallery has announced extended hours to accommodate gallery goers checking out 100 Masters: Only in Canada.
The exhibit features works by artists like Rembrandt, van Gogh, Renoir, Monet, Picasso, Warhol and many others. As of July 15, more than 25,000 people had already toured the galleries, and they keep coming.

"When our doors open in the morning, people are already lining up to see
the exhibition," says Stephen Borys, WAG director and CEO.

are finding that at closing time, people are just not ready to leave
because they haven't seen everything. With the exhibition closing in
only a month, we want to extend our hours to give our visitors more
opportunity to experience the stunning works in the exhibition."
Art lovers can now head down to the WAG during its regular hours of 11am - 5 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and 11 am - 9 pm on Fridays.
But as of July 18, extended hours for the Gallery and shop will go into effect until the exhibition closes, staying open later on Thursdays, from 11 am - 9 pm and from 10 am - 6 pm on Sundays. The WAG is closed Mondays. 100 Masters: Only in Canada is scheduled to close August 18.
