Royal Canoe is the latest to be featured on the Loft Sessions (Sterling Andrews)
Manitoba's Royal Canoe, the six-piece indie pop ensemble, is the latest act to be featured in The Loft Sessions with their song "Exodus of the Year."
This summertime series is presented by Manitoba Music and each week they release a new live performance video.
The shoots take place in the unique and atmospheric loft that sits atop Manitoba Music's offices. Director Chris Gaudry heads up the three-camera shoots.
This is an exciting time for Royal Canoe. After two Winnipeg concerts at the Park Theatre on August 22 and Union Sound Hall on August 23, they'll be heading down to L.A. to open for Alt-J in two sold-out shows, followed by a tour with Tricky in the fall, not to mention the launch of a new album, Today We're Believers.
Manitoba Music still has several more Loft Session videos coming out this summer, featuring artists JP Hoe, Don Amero, Les Jupes, Mise en Scene, Federal Lights and Haunter.
Royal Canoe has a busy month of performances and releases
