JD Edwards Band launches the Loft Sessions (David Lewis)
Manitoba Music has launched a new series of live performance videos called the Loft Sessions. Every Tuesday over the summer they will release a new video spotlighting a different local band.
"We wanted a new way to capture and showcase the talent, passion, and energy of our artists," says Sara Stasiuk, Manitoba Music's executive director. "Each of these artists is building significant buzz and these videos are another tool to help them promote their work in new markets."
The JD Edwards Band launched the series with "Go On Home."
The loft where the videos were recorded is situated on the top floor of Manitoba Music's offices in a 108-year-old building on Donald Street. The video director for the project is Chris Gaudry.
Still to come in the series are videos from Chic Gamine, Royal Canoe, JP Hoe, Don Amero, The Treble, Boats, Les Jupes, Mise en Scene, Federal Lights and Haunter.
