Winnipeg produces a lot of great music, but since it's National One-Hit Wonder Day, we went digging through the archives to find our city's greatest contribution to the genre.
Remy Shand released his first album, The Way I Feel, on Motown Records. It went on to win a Juno and was nominated for four Grammy awards. His debut album was certified platinum in Canada and sold about 500,000 copies in the United States.
It remains the only record he ever released on a major label.
