Youtube sensation Sean Quigley (Youtube)
Sean Quigley is a YouTube sensation. We first featured him on Manitoba Scene in December of 2011, when his Drummer Boy video came out. The song exploded and got over 2 million hits.
Since then Quigley has continued working on his music outside of highschool (he's in grade 11). He isn't hung up on being famous.
In fact he credits his faith in God as being a driving force in his own life. God, and his own personal determination to help those in need.
Quigley has just returned from a Western Canada tour with hip-hop artist Fresh IE. Fresh IE is known for encouraging youth across North America to be the best they can be.
"I can really relate to him in a lot of ways. Working with him has been amazing" Quigley told Larry Updike, host of CBC's Up to Speed.
Quigley also has a new E.P. out. It's called Our Generation and is available on iTunes. Our Generation represents a new generation of people who are keen to make a difference in the world. Just like Sean.
Sean Quigley will soon be featured on a Japanese morning show called ZIP via Skype. This fall he's touring B.C. with Christian artist Jon Buller.
Before that though he's playing a concert at the West End Cultural Centre on June 30th. It's in support of the Red Thread Movement to stop the sex trade in Nepal. He's doing a set with Fresh IE as well.
