Keri Latimer (So Forth Studio)
"So Long" is one of those songs where when you're writing, you're really not thinking about what you're writing....it's almost as if it's coming through you. Those songs are gifts.
—Keri Latimer, Winnipeg singer songwriter
All this week, Manitoba SCENE is bringing you an exclusive sneak peek and listen to Keri's new CD. One new song a day from the album will be put up right here on Manitoba SCENE, so you can literally hear it first. Keri also takes a moment to explain the story behind each tune in the following video.
ABOUT KERI: Keri Latimer is a Winnipeg singer songwriter who's perhaps best known as the
lead vocalist and front person of the Juno Award winning band Nathan. She took on a new project this past year, to write new music and record her first ever solo album.
Keri looked around her kitchen and realized it would be a great place to set up a makeshift recording studio and with her two kids taken care of, she created Crowsfeet and Greyskull.
Check back Friday, May 4 for one more exclusive listen to a brand new song from Keri's Crowsfeet and Greyskull album and the video story behind it.
