Keri Latimer (CBC)
It's also about new beginnings, because I know that my husband one day, will take my hand in his and we'll ride off into the sunset on his motorbike, and we're going to start new adventures.
—Keri Latimer, Winnipeg singer - songwriter
Winnipeg singer and songwriter Keri Latimer is perhaps best known as the
lead vocalist and front person of the Juno Award winning band Nathan.
This past year, Keri set out to write new music and record her first
ever solo album. She set up a makeshift recording studio in her kitchen,
made sure her two kids were taken care of and came up with Crowsfeet and Greyskull.
All this week, Manitoba SCENE is bringing you an exclusive sneak peek and listen to Keri's new CD. One new song a day from the album will be put up here on Manitoba SCENE so you can literally hear it first. Keri also explains in a video the story behind each tune.
A CBC Manitoba Scene exclusive!
OK, I can't tell who the first person to click on this is, because they become the first person outside of the Manitoba Scene crew to hear Keri's music.
Have a listen to Keri Latimer's title track "Crowsfeet and Greyskulls."
