Winnipeg's Rambling Dan Frechette launches four new recordings in five weeks

Rambling Dan Frechette has an uncanny songwriting ability that can only be described as prolific. The self-taught singer songwriter has over 1600 songs to his credit, and those songs just keep on coming. As musician Patti Lamoureux states: "I've never met a Dan Frechette song I haven't liked."

Dan Frechette hits the stage Friday, Feb. 24 at Winnipeg Folk Festival's The Folk Exchange. This intimate 55 seat venue is one of the city's best places to catch this master of song in concert.  Frechette is taking this concert opportunity to launch his latest two CDs Hello Goodbye Town and Life Without Home.  He'll be accompanied at this performance by bassist Karl Ratchinsky and guitarist Frank Rizzuto.

Next month is when Frechette is releasing his other two CDs, The Bluegrass Album and Quick Walk Hard Road.  We told you he was prolific.

Friday's concert begins at 8:00 PM. with doors opening at 7:15 PM. Tickets are available at the Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store, 211 Bannatyne Avenue at Albert Street.
