As part of Up To Speed's ongoing commitment to playing the best "ManCon" (think CanCon, but with an emphasis on LOCAL), and the CBC's overall support of the Canadian music industry, our afternoon drive home show launched an unprecedented talent search.
And in the resulting contest CBC Rock UTS, one high school band came out on top. And that was Eeper Weeper. The boys in the band have had a busy summer so far. They've rocked on the beach at the Gimli Film Festival, they found themselves in the recording studio with a professional music producer, and just last week they were hanging out for the cameras and shooting their first music video. All part of their winnings of CBC Radio One's search for the best high school rock band in Manitoba.
