Founding members Alek Taylor and Evan Yuel have been playing together for the better part of four years, intertwined in many different attempts at functioning groups. Kyle Cobb joined the group in July of 2010, and really put them in a new class, with his unique vocal talents and lyrical original songs. The Contradictors were born. Robert Hunter joined the group during February of 2011. Mitchell Macrae gigs with the group regularly on trumpet, collaborating for the first time mid 2010 at the Pyramid Cabaret.
