A decidedly irreverent take on the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta.
When May Jasper and Alia Vryens find themselves without a cast for their Gilbert and Sullivan production, they do the only logical thing - perform it themselves.
What ensues is a high-energy romp filled with goofy charm, silly wigs, and some pretty decent singing.
This is a decidedly irreverent take on the G&S operetta - there's a great torch version of "I am a Pirate King," and "Climbing Over Rocky Mountain" becomes an Andrews Sisters-style number.
It's also not quite the very model of a Fringe comedy - it hits some lulls, and wanders in search of an ending.
But May and Alia have enough cheeky charm and energy to win over most, whether you're a musical fan or not.
It's worth setting sail over the seas of silliness with May and Alia.
