God vents hilariously about all the things that bother Her, from Adam to Justin Bieber.
Mike Delamont is a natural onstage. He has a commanding presence, but looks so darn comfortable up there - even while wearing a decidedly uncomfortable dress - that he immediately puts us at ease. That's quite a feat considering we're in the presence of God.
The premise - that God has chosen to visit Earth as a middle-aged Scottish matron with a bit of a mouth on Her - is as funny as it sounds. You get the sense that no topic is off limits with Delamont, and more than once (s)he turns to the audience and says with a wink, "If that offended you, you should leave now."
Listening to God vent about all the things that bother Him... umm... Her - from Adam to Justin Bieber - is a hilarious and heavenly way to spend an hour.
