"She (Arlene Dickinson) is an inspiration to business women, and I'd love for her to be my mentor!"
—RoseAnna Schick, Communications Specialist
RoseAnna Schick gets fired up when she helps others realize their potential. She comes by this honestly. As a freelance writer she knows what it's like to sell her work and meet deadlines.
She also offers publicity and promotional services to the arts and entertainment industry, tourism sector, and Manitoba's Aboriginal community.
Throughout the month of February, RoseAnna has been Mentor in Residence, as part of the Aboriginal Music Program.
"I find this very
satisfying, and I truly enjoy helping people to improve their promotional
efforts. My company slogan at RAS Creative is 'making your ideas happen'. My goal is to help others make their own
dreams come true. And by doing so, I'm living my own dream!"
When she's not busy mentoring or writing or promoting, RoseAnna likes to train at the Winnipeg Rowing Club, curl, play ice hockey, and explore the wilderness.
She also loves to read. SCENE asked RoseAnna what was on the top of her reading pile:
