Links to all the information you need to prepare for Election Day.
Election Day is Wednesday October 27, 2010.
In Manitoba, general municipal elections are held every four years on the fourth Wednesday in October.
This includes elections for mayors (also known as reeves in some municipalities) and councillors. Elections for school trustees also take place the same day.
There are actually 197 incorporated municipalities in Manitoba but three of those — Dunnottar, Winnipeg Beach, and Victoria Beach — hold their elections on the fourth Friday in July.
Another 33 municipalities have already determined their councils through acclamation.
The remaining municipalities' lists of candidates and those that have been acclaimed are available on the Association of Manitoba Municipalities website.
