Miranda Baran in a comedy powerhouse in the making.

I gotta say I’m impressed. The youth on stage were at no point limited by their age. Their thespian skills left nothing to be desired.
Much Ado about Nothing is a Shakespearean play with all the works: foreshadowing, sneaky cupids, and young love. But even if you are not the type for a classic, don’t let that deter you, this young troupe has taken the script and turned it into a rom-com, complete with physical comedy and hilarious timing.
Miranda Baran, as Beatrice, gave an amazing performance. Watch out for her. She is a comedy powerhouse in the making, her every move garnered laughs and her acting choices greatly improved the play. Similar things could be said about Liam Berry, who plays Benedict. His performance was refreshing, but not because of his youth. The opposite actually. He had a confidence that takes some actors years to develop.
This play, makes me excited for the future of theatre in this province.
