Vice-Presidents Cup

The Vice Presidents Cup is a program that precedes the Program of Excellence, feeding into the Canadian National Team programs. Minor Bantam aged (1999 born) players will be selected to compete on teams against other (1999 born) players from across Winnipeg.

 

Teams will be competing in two divisions with 4 games guaranteed including a championship game that will be played on Sunday, April 7th 2013. Also included in the programming will be three one hour practices from which participants will be selected to participate in a Skills Competition on the Thursday evening (April 4th).

 

Players will be selected by their respective teams to participate in four events:

1.           Puck Control Relay
2.           Fastest Skater
3.           Rapid Fire shooting
4.           Break Away Shooting 
 

The purpose of the program is to showcase Minor Bantam players in a fun, competitive environment. This will be a full week of Hockey activity from April 1 to April 7, 2013 at the East End Arena (http://eastendarena.ca/ ) located at 517 Pandora Ave East.

 

Players are asked to submit their application on-line through the Hockey Winnipeg web site at http://www.wmha.mb.ca/index.aspx .

 

Registration is valid until March 22, 2013.
