Stan Chaisson - Boston Marathon Runner

MS2014.jpg
Stan Chaisson ran this year's Boston Marathon along with about 36,000 other runners. He finished with a time of 2:38; the best PEI finish.

Stan joined Karen Mair by phone to discuss the event and how it differed greatly from 2013's race, when the event was interrupted by bombings that left three people dead and more than 260 injured.

Bill Halpenny - 1912 Olympic Bronze Medal

BillHalpennyPEISHOF.jpgYou may know your stats when it comes to Islanders who have medalled at the Olympics... Heather Moyse with 2 gold, Dave Eli MacEachern with 1, and Billy MacMillan with a bronze in hockey from 1968. But our herculean historian Boyde Beck thinks you may be missing one Islander... Bill Halpenny, who won a special Olympic bronze medal.
