Gideon Man and Truth 4 Teens - Rick Osborne

RickOsborne.jpgFrom a life of drugs, crime and biker gangs... Rick Osborne was a hardened criminal who had spent more time in jail than free. He was also nasty inmate, sometimes spending months in solitary confinement and having to wear a cage mask to protect the guards. Rick will tell us how his life changed, thanks in part, to a Gideon bible left in his prison cell. Rick is in Charlottetown as a guest speaker at the national Gideon convention, and he's now the head of a chariatble organization called Truth 4 Teens, based in Ontario.

Sailable - The Chance to Sail

SailingMS.jpgSailAble gives people with disabilities the chance to sail. It was established in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and people in PEI are working hard to bring it to PEI. The organization SailAble will be doing demonstrations during Charlottetown Race Week.  We talk with Kevin Penny, a longtime SailAble participant, and Grant McLeod, with SailAble PEI. For more information or to volunteer email sailablepei@eastlink.ca or 629-0235.
