Q-Line - Former Prime Minister Paul Martin

PaulMMainstreet.jpgHe was the 21st Prime Minister of Canada, was chosen as Minister of Finance by Prime Minister Chr├ętien, published his memoirs entitled "Hell Or High Water" and in 2011 was made a Companion of the Order of Canada.

Today, he's passionate about aboriginal education. Paul Martin joins us on the Q-Line.

SpinTime - Stephen Bouey

SpinTimeStephenBouey.jpgOur SpinTime guest today is a classic kind of guy. Stephen Bouey is a classical singer who lives in Charlottetown, PEI. Stephen has sung with various opera companies in Canada and Europe, but now works at the University of Prince Edward Island as a sessional voice instructor. In 2009 Stephen released a CD of Folk Songs called "In-Souls." In his spare time he likes to write plays and short-stories. Stephen Bouey joined Karen Mair for SpinTime.

Leo Marchildon - To Each Is Given

LeoMarchildonKarenMair.jpgThis Friday evening St. Dunstan's Basilica will be filled with the sounds of original music. The choir from the Basilica along with several soloists will be singing alongside the Strathgartney Chamber Orchestra. The work they're presenting is called "To Each Is Given". It's created by Leo Marchildon who is the music director for both St. Dunstan's Basilica and the Strathgartney Chamber Orchestra. He stopped by to describe the event.
